Welcome to WilderGlos!

WilderGlos is all about taking action to reduce our impact on the environment, both on an individual and community-wide level. You've made a great first step by signing up for the programme and the steps below will help you get the most out of it.

1. Take part in activities

Take part in a whole range of activities to earn Green Points for yourself and your team. We've grouped the activities into themes, all of which you can get involved in at any time.

Check out each of the activities to see what you have to do - for some you'll need to submit some information or a photo whilst for others you'll be sent a weekly reminder to let us know what you've done. We've included an challenge and impact rating so you've got a rough idea of which activities will have the biggest effect on helping the environment and reducing your carbon footprint.

2. Compete with others on the leader board

The leader board on the homepage shows how you're performing compared to others in your community and how your team is doing compared to other villages and towns in Gloucestershire.

3. Win Prizes

As part of the programme you’ll get the opportunity to win 1 of 5 x top points earners prizes each month, such as a £5 gift voucher to use in one of our cafes (option to send virtually or via post) or one of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust’s Nature Reserve Guide books! We’ll also be awarding 1 x free 12-month GWT membership in a raffle to anyone who had taken part in an activity that month.

Please note: you can only win a top earner prize every 6 months

4. Encourage your friends and neighbours to get involved

You can encourage your friends and neighbours to get involved (and earn Green Points for yourself) using our refer a friend tool - all you need is your friend's email address to send them an invite.

Please note: only people in Gloucestershire can get involved.
